Edwardo Valdes, MD

Eduardo E. Valdes, MD, is a Board Certified OB/GYN at Collaborative Women’s Care in Miami, Florida. Dr. Valdes provides personalized women’s health care, forming long-lasting relationships with the patients he cares for.

Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Valdes’ love for medicine started at an early age as the son of a neonatologist (a doctor who cares for newborns). 

He attended the Florida International University in Miami, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences (now Ponce Health Sciences University) in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Dr. Valdes completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center (now Lincoln Medical Center) in Mott Haven, the Bronx, New York.

After completing his residency, Dr. Valdes returned to Miami to live and work in and serve the community he grew up in. He went into obstetrics and gynecology for the challenge of balancing primary care with acute care and surgery.

He cares for women of all ages, providing contraceptive counseling, pregnancy care, cervical health management, menopause treatment, and preventive health care.

To better serve the needs of his diverse community, Dr. Valdes speaks fluent English and Spanish.
