One may be asked a series of questions to help the doctor assess the state of your overall health. The usual questions are usually confined to subjects such as your exercise habits, your diet, if you smoke, and other similar things. You’ll also be asked questions about the pregnancy to get a better grasp of your experience.
The physical exam is similar to any other regular physical from your family doctor. A person’s weight will be considered, blood pressure taken, and heart and lung function assessed. You may also be subjected to a urine test to check for any abnormalities. The first of the two exams when you have a visit is to test for lumps or other signs of potential disease in the breast.
